Secretary of the Interior Salazar to address water issues at town hall meeting Sunday in Fresno

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will be in Fresno tomorrow speaking about issues that most likely center on water here in the San Joaquin Valley. This will be a 90-minute town hall meeting at the Satellite Student Union on the campus of CSU Fresno. Come early so you can stand in line longer, but have a better chance of getting in.

If you can not make it, such is the case with me, let someone else know so they can fill the seat. In this day and age water is not just a solvent anymore, and with him talking to the local congress critters first, we will end up with a peripheral canal and a dam at Temperance Flat. Unless we show up and vocalize our disapproval of those two ideas they will have more well-placed allies on the issue.

Secretary Salazar's town hall meeting is scheduled 2:30-4 p.m. tomorrow, June 28, at the CSU Fresno Satellite Student Union. Hope you all can make it.
